A wonderful Hunter Valley Centre hideaway set on 200 acres of beautiful Australian bush-land at the foot of the majestic Watgan Mountains just 20 minutes from the Hunter Valleys Wine region.

It is the closest gateway to the Hunter Valley, at only 90 minutes’ drive from Sydney, 40 minutes from Newcastle and 20 minutes to the vineyards. 

Accommodation is blended into the natural bushland surroundings.

We will also be welcomed to the land and spirit of Numagi by initiated elder and custodian Aunty Babangini. Once you have been oriented you will be welcome to walk the land and visit the sacred places that call to you.

There is an array of wildlife on the property including kangaroos, kookaburras, wombats, black cockatoo and much more.

Please note, there is no air conditioning in the rooms and wifi is only available in the restaurant. Mobile coverage is Telstra only.

A further option of attending the retreat with no accommodation is also available, which may suit people who live in the area. This option will include vegetarian breakfast and lunch.
