We know that we have a soul. Yet we know little about how it shapes and forms our life and experiences.

And while the reality of the soul is widely accepted even if not understood, we have forgotten the ancient belief in the sacredness of the Earth and the luminaries, the Sun and the Moon. They too are ensouled, by vast beings of Divine love and creativity. There are literally hundreds of names for the Divine in the form of the sun and the Earth, from cultures all over the world. We will be contemplating some of them.

We will also be stretching our awareness and merging with the spirit of the Earth and Sky, Sun and Moon as we enter into sacred connection and the boundlessness of Divine creativity and forms.

This retreat is about you, your soul and understanding how it connects into creation. How did we get here on Earth, and to what extent can we interact with nature as a source of wisdom and self awareness?

According to the Kabbalah, we have 5 levels of soul. We will be learning about this Ageless wisdom, and meditating on the Divine splendour that is the vast light and potency of the soul.

We will be also appreciating the world soul. The vast intelligence that provides for all that we need, this is an embodiment of the Divine Mother. Through our time in nature and through spiritual activations and blessings, we will reconnect more than ever with our own soul essence and the oneness that created us all.

Numagi Dreaming - Sacred Land Magic

Numagi is a first people's word for Sacred Land Magic.

Numagi is the home of the Hunter Valley Retreat Centre - 200 acres of beautiful bushland at the foot of the Watagan Mountains. The traditional custodians of the land are the Wonnarua People.

We are very blessed to be welcomed and introduced to the spirit of the land by initiated elder and custodian, Aunty Babanginy.

Included as part of the retreat is a full welcome and acknowledgment to country, a fire and ochre ceremony and then a walk on the land to the healing places for activation, along with bush tucker and natural medicine guidance.

Once everyone has been familiarised with where to go, you will then be able to walk in your own spare time to connect with those places again, if you feel called. The consciousness of the land will work with you directly to support your processes.

Chef Nathan Cooper - Catering

Chef Nathan (Prasad) brings his 20 years of international experience from fine dining, running banquet kitchens, to intimate bespoke events and designing menus for Heads of State, to catering for you. In recent years in becoming more conscious, his focus has placed more emphasis on a balanced plant-based approach, sourcing sustainable ingredients when available, and incorporating this experience into a modern, lighter, fresher take on international cuisine.

Additional Information

Full timetable will be available closer to commencement of the retreat. To help with your travel arrangements, the check in time on Sat 6 May is 2pm, with first session commencing 4pm and the retreat will conclude with morning session on Sat 13 May and then lunch.

No meat, alcohol, smoking, vaping or recreational drugs are allowed during this retreat.

If you have any special dietary requirements please ensure you answer the question on dietary needs and give details so we can ensure you are fully looked after. You will be directed to a second page to add these details after you confirm and pay for your room selection.

Please note we cannot cater for individual specific diets eg keto, raw food diet etc. Please email retreats@shaktidurga.com if you have any questions.
